International Patients
The hospital Klinikum rechts der Isar is the university hospital of the Technische Universität München (TUM). It is composed of 33 separate clinics and departments treating some 58,000 in-house patients and 220,000 out-house patients yearly. Through the close cooperation between health care and research, the latest advances in medical techniques can be quickly integrated into patient treatment procedures.
The Department of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery has served patients from all over the world with acute and chronic vascular diseases for over 30 years. Here, catheter techniques, classic vascular procedures and combinations of open surgical and endovascular techniques are employed. We provide the most up to date technology – our operating room, a so-called “hybrid operating room”, gives the physicians full flexibility in selecting the treatment.
