Dear students,

At the Department of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery, we place particular emphasis on practical and problem-oriented training. On this page we provide information for you, as future colleagues, on our courses and scripts on major vascular surgery topics.

We are very happy to also allow you to visit us in operations outside the official courses, take part in the consultations in our vascular centre or accompany us on the daily ward rounds! Even with larger vascular surgical operations, you can be present at the operating table in a sterile condition and thus experience at close quarters and “get a handle on” both the classic open surgical methods of operation and the most technically advanced endovascular therapeutic procedures.
