Health Services Research at the Clinic for Vascular and Endovascular Surgery

The Department of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery conducts health services research on various vascular surgical issues related to healthcare provision in Germany. In cooperation with the Federal Statistical Office, we analyze microdata from the DRG (Diagnosis Related Groups) database using controlled remote data processing.

A major focus of our research questions is in the field of aortic surgery and the treatment of peripheral arterial disease.
